Jason has worked in the film and entertainment industry for nearly 20 years, covering many areas of the business. From starting out as a professional actor in TV; to writing and directing for his own production company (he directed two features which had world wide sales and a theatrical release).
He became client manager at Carousel Media in 2014 and immediately provided a stable link in the sudden 'full delivery' of a film to Universal (including all of its legal documentation). He has been integral in keeping solid relationships with remaining clients, as well as making new ones.
Having been a filmmaker himself, Jason is an advocate of making each delivery schedule as economic and as streamlined as possible (which every producer will appreciate). He is proud to be the face of CMS and hopes he can help direct the company and its clients to artistic and commercial success.
Based in London, Jason graduateted with a BA 1st Class Honours Degree in Digital Arts Animation. As a result was awarded a scholarship went on to gain a Masters in Video Production Film Theory at West London University.
Jason’s technical knowledge of the Post Production Pipeline and QC is second to none. With his work covering areas such as Master Producer Deliverable and DIT services, he is also an accomplished editor extremely talented VFX supevisor and artist as well as Sound mixer and an established Colourist. He has provided Post VFX supervision on the films such as; Jeepers Creepers Reborn, Breaking The Bank, Born To Be Blue. Has also provided full editing duties, VFX and Grading on the motion pictures; Ibiza Undead, Community, Deadly Virtues Love Honour Obey through his own company aurora digital post Ltd.
Day to day duties included maintaing high level of industry thechnical standards and the creation all physical deliverables for such films as Breaking The Bank and Born To Be Blue to; IFC, Universal, eOne, K5.
It’s fair to say Jason is a consummate technical and creative professional who has a life-long love affair with film and the pursuit of achieving excellence through long hours of dedication to the craft... You’re in safe hands.
